On September 5, the delegation from the Nakasone Peace Institute (NPI), led by Professor Junya NISHINO of Keio University, visited the Asan Institute for Policy Studies and held a roundtable meeting. Asan experts and the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions on the foreign and security policy direction of the new government of the Republic of Korea (ROK), the implications and prospects of modernizing the ROK–U.S. alliance, future avenues for ROK–Japan cooperation, the implications of DPRK–China–Russia solidarity, and regional dynamics in the Indo-Pacific and East Asia.
