On September 4, 2025, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed-door roundtable with a delegation from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). Asan experts and the delegation engaged in a conversation on a wide range of subjects around the theme of “Regional Cooperation in a Time of Uncertainties,” including the U.S.-China rivalry in the Indo-Pacific, recent trade agreements between the United States and its allies, the role of middle powers and Europe in the region, and North Korea-China-Russia relations.
