On November 22, 2023, The Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a screening event for the award-winning documentary film about North Korean defectors, “Beyond Utopia.”

The documentary recounts the escape journey of five North Korean defectors to the free world, which reveals the human rights situation of North Koreans and vividly conveys the human rights crisis taking place in North Korea and China.
