Prof. Aaron Friedberg, Princeton University, “Asia Policy in the Next U.S. Administration”
On May 8, 2015, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted an Asan Dosirak Series with Experts with Professor Aaron Friedberg, Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University. In his lecture, titled “Asia Policy in the Next U.S. Administration,” Professor Friedberg outlined Washington’s strategic options toward China—ranging from enhanced engagement to containment—and projected how its Asia policy will likely take shape following the presidential election in 2016. He also emphasized that foreign policy will play an important role in deciding the next president of the United States.
