On March 21, 2016, the Asan Institute held a closed roundtable with the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS). Representatives from the Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group in Korea (JUSMAG-K) of the U.S. Embassy also attended the roundtable. Topics addressed included APCSS programs, the Symposium on East Asian Security (SEAS) Fellowship, Korea’s security situation, as well as diplomatic tensions between the Korean peninsula and surrounding countries.
