Biographies

Brian Finlay is the President and CEO at Stimson. His areas of expertise include nonproliferation, transnational crime, counter-trafficking, supply chain security and private sector engagement. Finlay is also an Adjunct Instructor in the School of International Service at American University in Washington.

Alan Romberg is a Distinguished Fellow and the Director of the East Asia program at Stimson. Before joining Stimson in September 2000, he enjoyed a distinguished career working on Asian issues including 27 years in the State Department, with over 20 years as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer.

Gilbert Rozman taught at Princeton University from 1970 to 2013. He now serves as the Editor-in-Chief of The Asan Forum, an online journal on the international relations of the Asia-Pacific region. His writings bridge sociology, history, and political science, concentrating on the states of Northeast Asia.

Yuki Tatsumi is a Senior Associate and Director of the Japan program at the Stimson Center. Before joining Stimson, Tatsumi worked as a research associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and as the special assistant for political affairs at the Embassy of Japan in Washington.
