On Monday, February 27, 2017, The Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed door roundtable with a delegation from the UK Ministry of Defense Development, Concepts and Doctrine Center (DCDC). The participants discussed the implications of global strategic trends and the transformative role of East Asia over the coming decades. The wide ranging discussion analyzed the North Korea situation, prospects for unification, the rise of China, Korea-Japan relations, and the increasing importance of cyber and space domains.
