On March 29, 2018, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed roundtable with a delegation from the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU). The conversation covered topics including the status of the North Korean economy and inter-Korean relations in an atmosphere of détente. The panelists analyzed long term strategies for establishing peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and also sought ways to further strengthen cooperation between South Korea and China.
