On October 29, 2018, The Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed roundtable with U.S. Congressman William "Mac" Thornberry (R-TX). He is currently serving as the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee. The participants discussed the current situation in the Korean peninsula, a process of denuclearization negotiation with North Korea and the future of the ROK-U.S. Alliance.
