On March 18, 2019, the UAE National Defense College Delegation visited the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. Dr. Jang Ji-Hyang, senior fellow and director of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Center at the Asan Institute, gave a lecture on “Korea-UAE Cooperation and Partnership Diversification in the Era of Illiberal Order.” The lecture began with an overall analysis of the Middle East, and Dr. Jang explained in detail how Korea-UAE partnership has developed, and the challenges and opportunities it faces. The lecture was followed by a Q&A session.
