8월 28일(수), UAE 소재 안보방위연구소(Institute for Global Security and Defense Affairs)의 사예드 고네임(Sayed Ghoneim) 소장이 아산정책연구원을 방문하여 비공개 라운드테이블을 가졌다. 이번 라운드테이블에서 고네임 소장은 아산 연구위원 및 국내 중동전문가들과 함께 “Strategic Rivalries in the Middle East in a New Security Dynamics and the Ramifications on East Asia” 라는 주제로 중동의 지정학적 변동과 안보현안에 대하여 심도있는 논의를 진행했다.
